The first public workshop will be held to determine the future of Capistrano Beach in light of serious coastal erosion it has faced in the past year.

OC Parks will be hosting the community event from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at OC Sailing and Events Center, 34451 Ensenada Place, Dana Point.

The County of Orange and OC Parks stated in a press release that the agencies are seeking public input to help plan and design Capistrano Beach Park.

“OC Parks will present the current conditions of the site, discuss the master plan process and ask for public feedback on the future of Capistrano Beach Park. Come provide your thoughts on what you would like to see,” the press release states.
