Need help in starting or re-opening a veteran affairs claim? Come speak with John Coon every second Tuesday of the month at the Dana Point Community Center, located at 34052 Del Obispo St., Dana Point. No appointment is necessary. Coon can be reached at or guests can contact the VFW Office at 949.248.1419, Monday – Friday from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Bring the following documents when meeting with John Coon: identification, any medical documentation from outside doctors, original veteran affairs letter (s), DD-214 original with copies, veteran affairs disability awards letter and any veteran affairs downgrade letters or veteran affairs correspondence.
