All information below is obtained from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department website. The calls represent what was told to the deputy in the field by the radio dispatcher. The true nature of an incident often differs from what is initially reported. No assumption of criminal guilt or affiliation should be drawn from the content of the information provided. An arrest doesn’t represent guilt. The items below are just a sampling of the entries listed on the OCSD website.

Friday, Sept. 23

DRUNK DRIVING Pacific Coast Highway, 34200 Block (1:29 a.m.) A caller told police a man was falling asleep at the wheel.

DISTURBANCE Pacific Coast Highway/Street of the Silver Lantern (12:06 a.m.) A skateboarder was traveling up and down PCH. The caller said the man was going in and out of traffic lanes.

Thursday, Sept. 22

DISTURBANCE-MECHANICAL Street of the Golden Lantern, 32500 Block (11:24 p.m.) Police were called for a generator that kept revving at the location.

HIT-AND-RUN PARKED CAR Street of the Amber Lantern, 34100 Block (5:01 p.m.) A black Scion and a white Ford Explorer were involved in an accident. The other driver “refused to exchange” information and left.

DISTURBANCE Street of the Golden Lantern/La Plaza (4:29 p.m.) Police were called for skateboarders in the park.

INVESTIGATE PERSON DOWN Pacific Coast Highway/Colegio Drive (11:55 a.m.) An arrest was made after police were called for a man and woman passed out on the sidewalk.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/CIRCUMSTANCE Pacific Coast Highway/Crown Valley Parkway (9:52 a.m.) A man was seen on the center divider throwing a Frisbee and jumping into the street to get it.

SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE Street of the Golden Lantern/La Cresta Drive (8:06 a.m.) A dark gray Hyundai Sonata was seen on the center median with damage to the passenger side.

Wednesday, Sept. 21

DISTURBANCE Calle Las Flores, 34700 Block (7:32 p.m.) People were being loud and washing cars.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/CIRCUMSTANCE Street of the Amber Lantern/Santa Clara Avenue (7:14 p.m.) A couple was seen on the ground having intercourse.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/CIRCUMSTANCE Pacific Coast Highway/Crown Valley Parkway (6:33 p.m.) A man was seen wandering into traffic and yelling at passing vehicles.

DISTURBANCE La Plaza, 24600 Block (6:17 p.m.) Police received a call about six skateboarders, who were being “way too noisy” and causing others to not use the park.

DISTURBANCE Avenida Las Palmas, 26900 Block (3:38 p.m.) A man told police a man and woman came to his door and asked him to buy something. He told police he was concerned they would harass other neighbors or go back to his house.

TRAFFIC ACCIDENT-UNKNOWN INJURIES Pacific Coast Highway/Street of the Blue Lantern (1:24 p.m.) A woman may have been hit by a vehicle.

TRAFFIC ACCIDENT-NON INJURY Cove Road/Dana Point Harbor Drive (12:38 a.m.) An arrest was made after a driver hit a tree.

Tuesday, Sept. 20

DRUNK DRIVING Pacific Coast Highway/Camino San C (11:30 p.m.) A driver was seen swerving in the lanes on PCH driving 75 miles per hour.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/CIRCUMSTANCE Doheny Park Road, 34100 Block (10:12 p.m.) A caller told police the gas station doors were opened and unlocked but did not see an employee inside. They said the cash register may have been opened.

DISTURBANCE Dana Strand Road, 34000 Block (8:07 p.m.) Police were called for juveniles standing around a truck drinking and being loud. The caller said there were also juveniles racing around the area.

TRAFFIC ACCIDENT-UNKNOWN INJURIES Stonehill Drive/Ocean Hill Drive (6:04 p.m.) A red Volkswagen and a black Lexus were involved in an accident.

DISTURBANCE Pacific Coast Highway/Del Obispo Street (4:45 p.m.) Two men were in a verbal argument and one kicked a wooden fence, tore pieces off of it and put it in the other man’s face.

DRUNK DRIVING Palisades Drive/Pacific Coast Highway (2:02 p.m.) An arrest was made after police were called for a driver in a gray Jeep Cherokee. The caller said the driver stumbled outside of the vehicle before getting in.

DISTURBANCE Pacific Coast Highway, 34300 Block (10:19 a.m.) An arrest was made after police were called for a woman screaming in the area.

DISTURBANCE Del Prado/Old Golden Lantern (12:26 a.m.) Police were called about skateboarders in the street.
