SUSPICIOUS PERSON/CIRCUMSTANCE Stonehill Drive/Del Obispo Street (5:09 p.m.) A man was seen in the dirt area behind Circle K drinking a beer and cutting down branches. Onlookers were afraid that the man was trying to start a fire.
SUSPICIOUS PERSON/CIRCUMSTANCE Stonehill Drive/Del Obispo Street (12:45 p.m.) A man in his 20s was seen doing drugs in his white jeep. The caller told police that the man then looked like he was about to pass out inside of the vehicle.
DISTURBANCE Via Sacramento, 26300 Block (12:14 p.m.) A man called police because he believed that his ex-girlfriend and some old friends were harassing him. The caller informed police that his residence had been burglarized and some of his property had been damaged.
UNKNOWN TROUBLE Dana Point Harbor Drive, 24200 Block (11:47 a.m.) Authorities were contacted after someone was heard screaming for help on the jetty by the Ocean Institute. Fireboats were dispatched and found three kayakers in distress just off shore.
ILLEGAL PARKED VEHICLE Pacific Coast Highway, 34100 Block (9:39 a.m.) A man called police after he saw another man park less than two feet away from a fire hydrant. The caller said that he asked the driver to move his car so that he does not receive a parking ticket, but the driver cursed him out and said that he didn’t care if he got a ticket.
SUSPICIOUS PERSON IN VEHICLE Pacific Coast Highway, 34100 Block (7:22 a.m.) Police were notified about an older model Chevrolet van with a man sleeping inside. The caller said there was evidence that the man had been urinating and defecating nearby.

DISTURBANCE Selva Road/Pacific Coast Highway (8:14 p.m.) A man was seen walking in and out of lanes of traffic, aggressively approaching and stopping vehicles on Pacific Coast Highway.
DISTURBANCE Pacific Coast Highway/Ritz-Carlton Drive (4:08 p.m.) A woman called police after she witnessed a man grab her 14-year-old son by the arm and push him over while taking a wave at Salt Creek Beach.
DISTURBANCE Trinidad Drive/Santiago Drive (11:45 a.m.) Four teenage girls were seen in a playground drinking alcohol and Snapchatting on top of a play structure.
DEFRAUDING AN INNKEEPER Niguel Road/Pacific Coast Highway (11:35 a.m.) A taxi driver contacted authorities after a man jumped out of his car and ran toward Salt Creek Beach without paying his fare.
WELFARE CHECK Paseo Viento, 35400 Block (9:42 a.m.) A woman called police after she could not get ahold of her sister. She told police that she had talked to her sister two days prior and had been trying to get ahold of her ever since.
ASSIST OUTSIDE AGENCY Trinidad Drive, 33100 Block (9:42 a.m.) Animal Control was contacted after three to four dogs were seen locked in cages inside of a gray Toyota.

RECKLESS DRIVING Pacific Coast Highway/Ritz-Carlton Drive (8:16 p.m.) A driver in a white sedan was seen racing back and forth through the area.
SHOTS HEARD-NO SUSPECT INFORMATION Vista Del Mar, 26700 Block (6:55 p.m.) A woman told police she thought she heard a gunshot from a few houses to the left of her location.
DISTURBANCE Street of the Golden Lantern, 34400 Block (6:27 p.m.) A man was seen throwing rocks at people and boats.
DISTURBANCE Street of the Silver Lantern, 33900 Block (5:29 p.m.) A woman told police her boyfriend was throwing rocks at her house.
SUSPICIOUS PERSON IN VEHICLE Via Fortuna, 34300 Block (4:02 a.m.) Police were called for juveniles being “too loud.”
