Sunday, October 2

PATROL CHECK La Serena Drive/La Cresta Drive (9:18 p.m.) A man told police his neighbors were smoking near his window and it was upsetting him.

RECKLESS DRIVING Pacific Coast Highway/Street of the Golden Lantern (7:40 p.m.) Police were called for a driver in a gray Nissan Altima who was seen swerving into oncoming traffic.

DISTURBANCE La Cresta Drive/Street of the Silver Lantern (6:16 p.m.) Police were called for juveniles with skateboards blocking the street.

DISTURBANCE Street of the Golden Lantern, 32500 Block (2:51 p.m.) Police were called for a petitioner and an anti-petitioner “harassing customers” in front of the store.

Saturday, October 1

DISTURBANCE Doheny Park Road, 34000 Block (8:21 p.m.) Police were called about a male customer “harassing” the employees.

TRAFFIC ACCIDENT-UNKNOWN INJURIES Doheny Park Road/Domingo Avenue (4:35 p.m.) A driver in a vehicle and a pedestrian were involved in an accident.

DISTURBANCE Dana Strand Drive, 34000 Block (3:33 p.m.) Police were called for a group of juveniles potentially smoking drugs under an umbrella.

TRAFFIC ACCIDENT-NON INJURY Avenida Las Palmas/Calle Rosita (12:59 p.m.) A gray Mercedes and a silver RAV4 were involved in an accident.

RECKLESS DRIVING Armada Drive/Buccaneer Street (12:53 p.m.) Police were called for a driver in a black Honda driving at high speeds in the neighborhood.

TRAFFIC ACCIDENT-UNKNOWN INJURIES Island Way/Dana Point Harbor Drive (10:14 a.m.) The fire company was called after an accident involving three vehicles.

BURGLARY IN PROGRESS Lantern Bay Drive, 34300 Block (8:38 a.m.) A woman told police a man broke into her garage and her neighbor’s garage.

ASSAULT WITH DEADLY WEAPON Doheny Park Road, 34200 Block (12:49 a.m.) An arrest was made after someone told the police “someone got stabbed.”

Friday, September 30

BIKE STOP Stonehill Drive/Del Obispo Street (10 p.m.) An arrest was made after a bike stop was conducted.

DISTURBANCE Pacific Coast Highway/Ritz-Carlton Drive (8:56 p.m.) Police were called for 15 juveniles around the bus stop going in and out of traffic.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/CIRCUMSTANCE Doheny Park Road, 34000 Block (6:28 p.m.) Police were called for man in a white van dumping landscaping into the dumpsters.

DISTURBANCE Dana Point Harbor Drive, 24200 Block (12:51 a.m.) Police were called for a man and a woman seen kicking a pitbull they had on a leash.

VANDALISM Street of the Golden Lantern, 34600 Block (12 a.m.)  A driver of a dark gray Jeep said the car’s tires were slashed.

Thursday, September 29

HIT-AND-RUN PARKED CAR Nottingham Way, 33400 Block (11:01 p.m.) A woman told police someone hit her parked car then backed up into her neighbor’s vehicles.

TRAFFIC ACCIDENT Doheny Park Road/Camino Capistrano (9:16 p.m.) A vehicle was seen on the center median.

DISTURBANCE Calle Fortuna, 34800 Block (4:44 p.m.) Police were called for a man soliciting in the neighborhood, who started a verbal argument when the caller told him no.

DISTURBANCE Pequito Drive, 33600 Block (2:35 p.m.) Police and the Orange County Fire Authority were called for three men beating up one kid.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/CIRCUMSTANCE Dana Woods, 24900 Block (10:28 a.m.) Two juveniles were seen smoking out of a bong.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/CIRCUMSTANCE Palm Beach Court, 0 Block (5:31 a.m.) A man told police someone broke into his house to “shoot him or rob him.” He told police he did not see the suspect but said they opened the door.

Wednesday, September 28

DISTURBANCE-MECHANICAL Dana Point Harbor Drive, 24800 Block (11:20 p.m.) Police were called for someone using a loud leaf blower.

HIT-AND-RUN MISDMEANOR Del Prado/Street of the Ruby Lantern (5:32 p.m.) A vehicle struck a tree and the driver fled on foot.

DISTURBANCE Street of the Golden Lantern/La Plaza (4:09 p.m.) Police were called for 10 skateboarders skating throughout the amphitheater.

DRUNK IN PUBLIC Doheny Park Road, 34200 Block (1:32 p.m.) Police were called for two people at the back entrance “scaring customers.”

TRAFFIC ACCIDENT Del Obispo Street/Blue Sail Drive (12:19 p.m.) A beige Ford and a white Malibu were involved in an accident.

Tuesday, September 27

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/CIRCUMSTANCE Bridgeport Street, 0 Block (6:14 p.m.) A man told police his new neighbors were caught a few times taking photos of him and his son.

SHOTS HEARD-NO SUSPECT INFORMATION Selva Road/Chula Vista Avenue (5:38 p.m.) A caller told police they heard half a dozen shots.

TRAFFIC ACCIDENT-NON INJURY Pacific Coast Highway/Street of the Binnacle Lantern (12:55 p.m.) A silver Toyota and a black pickup truck were involved in an accident.

DISTURBANCE Doheny Park Plaza/Pacific Coast Highway (9:05 a.m.) Police were called for a man inside a restaurant “accosting women.”

Monday, September 26

PROWLER Brookview, 0 Block (11:15 p.m.) A caller told police they thought they heard someone try to open the front door.

TRAFFIC ACCIDENT Pacific Coast Highway, 34100 Block (1:29 p.m.) An arrest was made after an accident.

DISTURBANCE Camino De Estrella/Camino Mira Costa (10:45 a.m.) Police were called for 15-20 people standing around flicking cigarette butts onto the ground.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/CIRCUMSTANCE Malaga Drive, 34000 Block (12:38 a.m.) A caller told police someone punched a hole through the window screen and used a stick to open the blinds of their daughter’s room.

Sunday, September 25

DISTURBANCE Street of the Binnacle Lantern, 25000 Block (11:40 p.m.) A man was seen hitting a vehicle with a pole or a baseball bat.

TRAFFIC ACCIDENT-UNKNOWN INJURY Staysail Drive, 25200 Block (7:32 p.m.) A vehicle went into a house.

DISTURBANCE Beach Road, 35000 Block (6:56 p.m.) A man was seen taking rocks off the beach and loading them into a vehicle.

DRUNK DRIVING Pacific Coast Highway/Street of the Amber Lantern (12:58 p.m.) An arrest was made after police were called for a driver holding a cup in his hand and swerving.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/CIRCUMSTANCE Avenida Las Palmas, 26800 Block (1:36 a.m.) A man told police he was woken up by someone throwing rocks at his window. He told police he looked outside and saw a sedan parked with its lights on for 30 minutes.
