Join local Relay for Life organizers for a kickoff celebration to this year’s continuous 24-hour walk supporting the American Cancer Society’s fight against cancer. The 2014 Dana Point relay will be held at Lantern Bay Park from 10 a.m. Saturday, September 20 to 10 a.m. Sunday, September 21.
Organizers are getting started early though. Learn how to get involved in the local relay on Thursday, June 12 at the Surfin’ Cowboy, 34235 Doheny Park Road in Capistrano Beach. Celebrate the relay’s kickoff with complimentary appetizers, happy hour specials, live entertainment and opportunity drawings.

Also, on Monday, June 9, Stuft Pizza, located at 24821 Del Prado Ave. in Dana Point, will be donating 20 percent of its sales to the American Cancer Society. Mention the Relay for Life when ordering eat in, takeout and delivery orders. Promotion runs from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
