Dana Point Times
The Ocean Institute offered visitors “nights full of fright” last weekend during its inaugural Spooky Seas event, sponsored by the city of Dana Point. Guests heard ghost stories aboard the brig Pilgrim, met a mermaid in the historic boathouse, conducted experiments in a mad scientist’s laboratory and even got the chance to dissect a Kraken (squid) at the end of the tour.
