Visitors aboard the Ocean Adventures catamaran were surprised to see a group of orcas on Nov. 30.
During Tuesday’s noon trip with Captain Frank Brennan, the group was able to see three southbound gray whales right out of the harbor as they headed northbound to find the orcas.
According to Dana Wharf, each of the gray whales showed their flukes.
Dana Wharf staff said there was 30-40 offshore killer whales.
