The first ever Driftwood festival at Doheny State Beach brought in more than 8,000 people during Veterans Day weekend for country music, barbecue, beer and wine.
Artists such as Danny Worsnop, Mariachi El Bronx, The White Buffalo, Parmalee, Thompson Square, Rodney Aitkens and Jerrod Neimann performed throughout the day.
Some of the proceeds from the event benefited the San Onofre Parks Foundation, a non-profit that works with California State Parks to develop, preserve and enhance the parks, along with the Doheny State Beach Interpretive Association, a local non-profit dedicated to the park’s beaches, facilities, marine refuge and more.
During the day event goers were able to participate in a beer and wine tasting, there were food trucks as well as vendors selling various merchandise.
