Dana Point residents surrounded the Dana Point Veterans Memorial on Friday morning, despite the warm weather, to honor those who have served in the military during the annual Veterans Day ceremony.
During the ceremony, members of the Dana Hills High School choir sang “America the Beautiful” and the “National Anthem.”
Captain Brad Fowler was the master of ceremonies and the keynote speaker was Lieutenant Colonel Jamey M. Federico of the United States Marine Corp.
Vietnam veterans received commemorative pins and members of the Dana Point VFW Auxiliary Post 9934 unveiled the memorial tablets inside the memorial.
