As Nov. 8 draws close, various organizations throughout the city will hold City Council candidate forums to help voters make their choices.
On Tuesday, Oct. 11, Capo Cares will hold their candidate forum at Capo Beach Church. All five candidates will be present to answer questions posed by Dana Point residents.
Wayne Rayfield, South Coast Water District president, will moderate.
All are welcome to attend the event. To submit questions, send an email to capocares@gmail.com. The forum will begin at 6:30 p.m.
On Wednesday, Oct. 12, the Dana Point Chamber of Commerce along with the League of Women Voters will hold a City Council candidate forum.
The candidates will have two minutes for an opening statement, and 90 minutes of written questions from the audience.
The forum will be from 6-8 p.m. at the Dana Point Community Center and is open to the public.
On Monday, Oct. 20, the Lantern Village Association will hold a forum from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Community Houses. All are welcome to attend.
