An update to the open Request for Proposals (RFP) for the management of the OC Sailing & Events Center at Dana Point Harbor was released by the County of Orange on Dec. 8.
Changes include a new date for the pre-proposal site inspection meeting, Dec. 17, an extension of time for questions and proposal preparation and the addition of Bidsync.com to administer the RFP process, the update said.
All proposers must now register on Bidsync.com and enter “RFP OCDPH 10-2015” in the search box. All questions and answers will be provided through Bidsync.
Questions from proposers are now due on Dec. 28. Questions and answers will be available on Jan. 7, 2016. Proposals are due no later than 4 p.m. on Jan. 22, 2016 and the county’s review of written proposals is set for Jan. 25, 2016. Optional oral interviews and final presentations will be conducted with the most highly-qualified applicants on Feb. 3, 2016.
A final lease approval by the Orange County Board of Supervisors is expected by March 2016.
