Notable Dana Point residents Scott Schoeffel and Julie Simer have recently joined Nossaman Healthcare Practice Group as partners in the firm’s Orange County office.

Schoeffel, a Dana Point City Council member, has experience in healthcare provider operations, strategic development and regulation of healthcare delivery systems, state and federal health care regulation licensing and more, according to a statement by Nossaman.

Simer, who unsuccessfully ran for a seat on the South Coast Water District board, has experience in regulatory compliance, managed care and privacy, as well as the operation challenges facing the healthcare industry, the statement said.
