DP logoThe Assistance League of Capistrano Valley has awarded four scholarships to students attending Saddleback Community College through its INSPIRE Program.

INSPIRE — Independence for Needy Single Parents Instilled via a Responsible Education — gave four finalists $3,000 scholarships.

Those recipients included Ngan Dao, Katherine Wimber, Samantha Finks and Ashley Zieman. They each shared stories of overcoming abuse, economic hardships and various types of adversity.
