The East Coast family of Gene Burrus would like to acknowledge our pride in our brother-in-law and uncle for the wonderful honor from the Dana Point Chamber of Commerce as Citizen of the Year.
We, in the family, are well aware of “Uncle Gene’s” talents and generosity of spirit, and it is gratifying when these things are recognized by the larger community. So often the mighty efforts of senior citizens are ignored or taken for granted, but this has never been the case in Orange County.
