I heard that the city of Dana Point is suing Sanford Edward for failure to pay the city what it believes he owes them. But there are two sides to every story and from what I heard, the city over-billed him. This is a situation that can be worked out in mediation not in a court room. The developer has done an amazing job beautifying Dana Point by restoring the Conservation Park, adding the boardwalk on Strand Beach, the funicular and trails. Suing is just a waste of taxpayer’s money.
