After the Saturday, March 29 concert by the Christ Church Cathedral Choir and the Dana Point Symphony, my ears will never be satisfied with my earbuds again.
The purity of the sounds and the voices at St. Edwards were angelic and ethereal. Many numbers, including Handel’s “Hallelujah Chorus” and “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” were sung by the choir, whose voices were literally, heavenly.
I am proud of our local artists, of the city’s contribution to the events and of Berenika Schmitz for her galvanizing leadership in the symphony’s direction.
