By Thomas Bakehorn, Dana Point
As a Dana Point resident, I just wanted to take the time to thank our leaders for one of the dumbest decisions of the year. Instead of a beautiful hotel welcoming guests to Dana Point Harbor and town, we still have a blighted corner where bums beg for money all day and night. What a lovely sight for our out of town guests who travel Pacific Coast Highway south to the Harbor, for them to see the homeless begging for spare change on the busiest corner of the city.
Oh, and what a beautiful sight it is to see a closed, creepy motel, a pitiful liquor store that’s been boarded up for years, and the dirty, homeless down-and-outs begging on the most noticeable intersection of the city.
Good job dummies, you have gotten what you deserve, a view obstructed by blight instead of progress.
I am sure our guests are impressed with your progressive decisions.
Sincerely,
Thomas Bakehorn, Dana Putz resident
Well, now that you have made so much traffic on PCH. Have you tried driving on PCH? It’s horrible now, due to waiting for people to turn left for Del Prado. I really hurt for all the businesses on Del Prado now that I don’t use it anymore. I am sure I am not the only one. As long as you are causing DP more traffic and now putting condos in (which was against the majority of DP I am sure) and will take away any parking. You may as well put in a In-N-Out or a Target store where the old liquor store is. At least, that would bring in work for all the new residents. What were you thinking?
Shame on you for destroying our little beach city.
