Former captain of the United States Women’s National Soccer Team and current ESPN analyst Julie Foudy is hosting the ESPNW Women + Sports Summit at the St. Regis Monarch Beach in Dana Point Oct. 14-16.
Foudy, a San Clemente resident, headlines an impressive group of guest speakers and panelists set to appear at the event, geared toward creating positive change and opportunity for women in the sporting world.
Foudy is set to take part in Wednesday night’s 7:25 p.m. panel discussion titled “Voices of the Future”, which features young athletes.
Current USWNT members Abby Wambach and Ali Kreiger, along with Dan Levy and Jessica Mendoza, will take part in a panel discussion titled “Capitalizing on a World Cup Championship” on Wendesday at 5 p.m.
Thursday highlights include: “A High Performance Life”, an interview with Gabby Reece, Brody Hamilton and Reece Hamilton.
-“World-Class Athletes: Achieving Excellence in Sports and Life”, a panel discussion featuring the WNBA’s Maya Moore and Sue Bird, USA ice hockey star Hilary Knight and more. The panel will also include ESPN personality Jemele Hill.
Friday highlights include: “World Cup Greatness: Peak Training + Performance”, an interview with USWNT member Carli Lloyd, James Galanis and ESPN personality Sage Steele.
