Residents living in, and around, Capistrano Beach can learn about the risk of cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, diabetes and other chronic, serious conditions with health screenings by Life Line Screenings.
The screenings will take place on Monday, Nov. 28 at Capo Beach Church.
Screenings can check for:
- Level of plaque buildup in arteries, related to risk for heart disease, stroke and overall vascular health
- HDL and LDL Cholesterol levels
- Diabetes risk
- Bone density as a risk for possible osteoporosis
- Kidney and thyroid function, and more
Screenings will be affordable, convenient and accessible for those in wheelchairs and those with trouble walking. Free parking is available.
