Readers may remember when, back in February, Dana Point Times spoke with Michael “Cappi” Capozzoli who was about his journey literally walking across America. The journey, which would take 10 months in total, is an effort to raise awareness and funding for a pet friendly and safe/transitional house in his home community of Sedona, Arizona. Thanks to a number of Dana Point citizens, Cappi was able to begin his journey from Dana Point. Earlier this week, Cappi was kind of enough to check in and let us know  he has successfully made it halfway to his final destination Boston, Massachusetts. He is currently just west of Joplin, Missouri. You can read more about Cappi’s journey from the initial story here. #GoCappiGo
