The winners of the 12th annual Laguna Beach Million Dollar Home Raffle were announced to the public on Tuesday, Nov. 7.
Howard Smoot, from Blythe, was the grand prize winner chosen in the single-ticket final drawing. The grand prize is a Laguna Beach home or $1 million cash, winner’s choice.
Local residents Amanda Beaini, from Capistrano Beach, was the recipient of a $1,000 South Coast Plaza gift card or $750 cash and Nancy Sobol, from Dana Point, was the winner of Beats Headphones.
Other prizes included a three-night stay at Monarch Beach Resort, a BMW 328i lease or $10,000 cash, iPads, Go Pros and more.
Proceeds from the tickets benefit the Ocean Institute and participating nonprofit organizations.
