During this closure, motorists will not have through access to Camino Las Ramblas at the I-5 Freeway from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night from Monday, Oct. 17 through Friday, Oct. 21
Officials said dates and times are subject to change due to inclement weather and other unforeseen operational factors.
“The road closure is necessary to allow crews to demolish and reconstruct a portion of Camino Las Ramblas beneath the freeway,” a release from Orange County Transportation Authority stated. “This closure affects the existing detour for motorists on northbound I-5 who need to access eastbound Camino Las Ramblas. During the closure, those motorists must exit at Camino de Estrella, turn left and use the Camino de Estrella on-ramp to northbound I-5 to access eastbound Camino Las Ramblas.”
