On Saturday, May 16 Easter Seals DreamMakers will be holding their 11th annual fundraising event at the OC Sailing and Event Center in the Dana Cove Room, 34451 Ensenada Place, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The community is invited and admission is free.
The event will include live and silent auctions, music by Acoustic for a Change and food by Panda Express.
“We are looking forward to another outstanding event,” said Patrice Martin, auctions chairwoman. “The city of Dana Point, City Council and city staff have been fantastic event supporters each year and we appreciate their help making this a successful legacy event for Easter Seals.
Orange County Supervisor Lisa Bartlett will present a proclamation to Panda Express for its support of Easter Seals in the county and a certificate to Easter Seals and the DreamMakers Team.
Auction items will include artwork, dinner and Cinepolis tickets, golf and spa packages, hotel stays and restaurant certificates for eateries such as Jimmy’s Famous American Tavern, Savannah Chop House, Gemmel’s and more.
Event proceeds will benefit Easter Seals Southern California an organization that empowers individuals with disabilities and special needs at all stages of life through autism services, independent living services, social skills support, early childhood education services and employment services for civilians and military veterans.
