The 2013 All South Coast League boys volleyball teams were announced today and several Dolphins players dot the rosters of the first and second team selections.
Junior opposite Christian Hessenauer was named the league co-MVP along with San Clemente’s senior setter Jack Yoder.
Senior middle blocker Bryce Yould, junior setter Eric Matheis and senior outside hitter Doug Hamann were named to the all-league first team.
Senior libero James Koci was named to the all-league second team.
The Dolphins recently finished a season that saw them go 26-5 overall, including a 7-1 record in the South Coast League. After tying with San Clemente at the top of the standings, the Dolphins ensured a share of the league title for the fourth year in a row.
Dana Hills advanced to the quarterfinals of the CIF-SS Division 1 playoffs.
The Dolphins were led by head coach Oz Simmons.
