Kristin Walovich studied deep-sea sharks from Southern Africa for five years and named a new species of ghost shark in 2017. Now, she works at the Dana Point Headlands Interpretive Center and will present on deep-sea sharks at an upcoming ‘Science Night’ event on Thursday, April 19.
