Caltrans/OCTA and Orange County Public Works are planning road work that could affect Dana Point residents.
On Friday, Aug. 19, Caltrans/OCTA will begin closing three of four southbound I-5 lanes at 10 p.m.
On Saturday, two lanes will be open going southbound, and there will also be asphalt work along Pacific Coast Highway in both directions from 7 a.m.-4 p.m.
A one-lane closure will occur in each direction on PCH.
The street improvement project in Dana Point Harbor Revitalization will continue through Aug. 24 with work along Casitas Place and Puerto Place.
According to the county, concrete ADA access ramps will be poured, roadway structural section on Casitas Place south of Dana Point Harbor Drive.
The work is scheduled from 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and the schedule is tentative and could change based on weather and other factors.
