SUPPORT THIS INDEPENDENT JOURNALISM
The article you’re about to read is from our reporters doing their important work — investigating, researching, and writing their stories. We want to provide informative and inspirational stories that connect you to the people, issues and opportunities within our community. Journalism requires lots of resources. Today, our business model has been interrupted by the pandemic; the vast majority of our advertisers’ businesses have been impacted. That’s why the DP Times is now turning to you for financial support. Learn more about our new Insider’s program here. Thank you.
The Civic Association’s monthly Coffee Chat will be returning to Coffee Importers next week after a summer hiatus.
This month’s meeting will be Friday, Sept. 16 at 8:30 a.m. with the Dana Point City Council candidates as the special guests. With election season upon the city, the Civic Association and the Dana Point Times will be holding a candidate forum. During the forum, the Times will ask each candidate questions submitted by Dana Point residents about issues they believe are important.
The Times is currently collecting questions residents have for the candidates. If interested in submitting a question for the candidates, email email@example.com.
All are welcome to attend.
The forum will be held at Coffee Importers at 8:30 a.m. Free coffee will be provided for those who attend courtesy of Jim Miller of the Civic Association and Coffee Importers.
Next month, on Friday, Oct. 21, the Times and Civic Association will hold a forum with the candidates for the South Coast Water District board. You may also submit questions for these candidates.
