During Friday, Oct. 21 Coffee Chat, the Civic Association and the Dana Point Times hosted a candidate forum with the South Coast Water District candidates at Coffee Importers.

Candidates Wayne Rayfield, Rick Erkeneff, Bob Oakley, Julie Simer, Douglas Erdman and Robert (Bob) Moore answered questions sent in by residents. The questions topics ranged from Doheny Ocean Desalination Project to water rates.

Coffee Chat is a monthly meeting held by the Civic Association. The next meeting will not be until January 2017.
