PUBLIC NOTICE OF INTRODUCTION OF ORDINANCE

CITY OF DANA POINT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on February 15, 2022, the City Council of the City of Dana Point introduced an Ordinance entitled:

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE CITY OF DANA POINT CALIFORNIA, APPROVING ZONE TEXT AMENDMENT ZTA21-0001 ADDING CHAPTER 9.72 TO THE CITY OF DANA POINT ZONING CODE REGULATING SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DUPLEXES, AND ADDING CHAPTER 7.37 OF THE CITY OF DANA POINT MUNICIPAL CODE REGULATING URBAN LOT SPLITS

The proposed Ordinance will add Chapter 9.72 to the Dana Point Zoning Code to regulate the development of single-family residential duplexes in the city and add Chapter 7.37 to the Dana Point Municipal Code to regulate urban lot splits, both in accordance with Senate Bill (SB) 9.

The proposed Ordinance is available for viewing in the City Clerk’s office located at 33282 Golden Lantern, Dana Point, California.

This proposed Ordinance was introduced by the City Council of the City of Dana Point, California, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 15th day of February, 2022, by the following vote:

AYES: Council Member Jamey M. Federico, Council Member Richard Viczorek, Council Member Michael Villar, Mayor Pro Tem Mike Frost, and Mayor Joseph L. Muller

    NOES:   None

    ABSENT: None
