Hop on down to Pines Park in Capistrano Beach or Sea Canyon Park in Dana Point for the city’s annual egg hunts. The free events begin at 9 a.m. and include a marionette show, kids’ games, petting zoo and a visit from the Easter Bunny. Egg hunts begin promptly at 10 a.m. for children up to 10 years old. Bring a basket for collecting plastic eggs and candy.

Pines Park is located at 34941 Camino Capistrano in Capistrano Beach. Sea Canyon Park is at 33093 Santiago Drive in Dana Point.

The Monarch Beach Sunrise Rotary Club is hosting a pancake breakfast in conjunction with the Sea Canyon Park egg hunt, from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Breakfast includes Stacks Pancake House pancakes, sausage, orange juice and coffee. Adults $6; children under 12 are $3. Credit cards will be accepted. Proceeds will benefit the many local organizations the club supports.
