A film created by Dana Wharf Sportfishing & Whale Watching staff was picked to be featured at an upcoming film festival.
An original film, Sharing the Shores off Dana Point: A Whale & Dolphin Exploration, has been selected to screen at the Long Beach Indie International Film Festival at the end of the month.
The film is a compilation of GoPro footage that gives the viewer a Whale Watching experience with Dana Wharf Sportfishing & Whale Watching. It shows the viewer whales, dolphins, sea lions, birds and other wildlife right off Dana Point Harbor.
“We are thrilled to have our film chosen to screen at this year’s Long Beach Indie International Film Festival,” said Donna Kalez, GM for Dana Wharf Whale Watching.
The film was selected from more than 700 submissions received by the festival for consideration.
The screening will occur at the Cinemark at the Peak Theater in Long Beach on Friday, Sept. 2 at 12:30 p.m. Visit longbeachindie.com for information and passes.
