On Saturday, March 28 the 5th Marine Regiment from Camp Pendleton will send 100 Marines to South Shores Church in Dana Point armed with buckets of soapy water and sponges for the latest installment of their carwash extravaganzas. The event—which runs from 9 a.m.–3 p.m.—includes a carwash, a barbeque court and vehicle displays provided by the Marines and local fire and police services.
“Please bring the family and kids and enjoy the camaraderie of being with our Marines,” said Pete Hammer, the president of the Dana Point 5th Marine Regiment Support Group. “They too enjoy your company and very much like the feeling of being part of our community. A good time will be had by all. Don’t miss it!”
South Shores Church is located at 32712 Crown Valley Parkway on the corner of Crown Valley and Pacific Coast Highway. All donations benefit the Dana Point 5th Marine Regiment Support Group, a registered 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Corporation.
