Monday, November 9

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/CIRCUMSTANCES
Vuelta Rica, 26600 Block (11:29 p.m.) A man in his early-20s knocked on the caller’s front door and said he was being chased. The man waited out front for deputies.

CITIZEN ASSIST
Crown Valley Parkway, 32400 Block (9 p.m.) A woman called deputies when someone left shooting target paper on her car and her front door.

DISTURBANCE
Dana Bluff West, 25800 Block (12:37 p.m.) A homeless encampment was reported near Doheny Park Road and the Interstate 5 ramp.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/CIRCUMSTANCES
Del Prado Avenue, 24800 Block (12:33 p.m.) A man in a black BMW was driving around in the parking lot trying to sell televisions and other electronics.

DISTURBANCE
Pacific Coast Highway, 34100 Block (11:01 a.m.) A man who was believed to be on drugs was outside yelling at customers. The caller said the man is on a list that prevents him from buying alcohol and he has been told he is not welcome at the store.

Sunday, November 8

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/CIRCUMSTANCES
Camino el Molino/Calle Real (8:46 p.m.) A man was stumbling in circles in the middle of the street and then lay down on the front porch of one of the houses in the area. A 25-year-old man who said he is a construction worker was arrested and still in custody as of Tuesday.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/CIRCUMSTANCES
Dana Point Harbor Drive/Embarcadero Place (8:14 p.m.) Three men in plain clothes claiming to be Border Patrol officers asked to check a man’s identification. The subjects were in a silver Chevy Silverado that was parked in a handicap spot near the boat launching area.

DISTURBANCE
Seagate Drive, 24800 Block (7:11 p.m.) A man said his wife was threatening and arguing with their daughter while she was trying to do her homework. The wife was refusing to stop, the man told police.

DISTURBANCE –MUSIC OR PARTY
Dana Point Harbor Drive, Street of the Golden Lantern (3:27 p.m.) Teenagers were playing loud music with profanity at the southwest corner of the park near the roundabout.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/CIRCUMSTANCES
Palisades Drive, 26400 Block (3:15 p.m.) A 45- to 50-year-old man with no pants and no shoes was running toward Camino Capistrano from Palisades Gazebo Park and scared the caller’s daughter.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/CIRCUMSTANCES
Pacific Coast Highway, 34700 Block (3:10 p.m.) A patrol check was requested in the empty lot between the Best Western and the Seaside Inn when a hotel employee reported seeing a half-naked man walking around and setting up camp.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/CIRCUMSTANCES
Rocky Beach Lane, 26200 Block (8:13 a.m.)  A man, who deputies felt sounded suspicious, said he was being held hostage by his sister and brother-in-law and had been “hog tied” to the bed the night before. The man said he was still tied up in a bedroom above the garage at the time of the call and that there were four or five people downstairs he didn’t know.

DISTURBANCE
Dana Point Harbor Drive, 24800 Block (2:22 a.m.) A man was in the lobby yelling, pounding on walls and threatening to kill someone. A 25-year-old man who said he works in the fitness industry was arrested and booked into Central Men’s Jail with bail set at $45,000.

Saturday, November 7

TRAFFIC ACCIDENT-UNKNOWN INJURIES
Dana Point Harbor Drive/Island Way (10:24 p.m.) A woman, who was possibly hit by an electric golf cart, was not getting up. Orange County Fire Authority responded.

DISTURBANCE
Pacific Coast Highway/Dana Point Harbor Drive (10:09 p.m.) A man was yelling at another man, accusing him of stealing his skateboard. The 35-year-old alleged suspect had locked himself inside the gas station bathroom.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/CIRCUMSTANCES
Dana Point Harbor Drive/Cove Road (9:52 p.m.)
Two men and one woman, believed to be either drunk or under the influence of drugs, were seen running on the bluff. The woman was topless.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/CIRCUMSTANCES
Del Prado Avenue, 24500 Block (8:35 p.m.) A patrol check was requested for a man seen “shooting up heroin” in the post office.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/CIRCUMSTANCES
Camino el Molino, 34500 Block (8:28 p.m.) A man, deemed suspicious, called to report “something strange” going on in the residence behind the location. The caller would not elaborate as to what was going on and then went on to say his friends/neighbors who live there are not responding and he thinks someone wants to hurt them. The man said he would call back.

DISTURBANCE
Crown Valley Parkway/Pacific Coast Highway (7:42 p.m.) A man called police when a woman spit in his face at Starbucks.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/CIRCUMSTANCES
Village Road, 25300 Block (4:36 p.m.) A man was seated and staring at a barking dog. The caller believed the man may have thrown the dog over to the other side of the fence.

TRAFFIC ACCIDENT-UNKNOWN INJURIES
Pacific Coast Highway/Del Obispo Street (1:33 p.m.)  A car was fully engulfed in flames. No injuries were reported.

Friday, November 6

ILLEGAL PARKED VEHICLE
Doheny Place, 34800 Block (2:52 p.m.) A “hysterical” woman told police her “happiness and sunshine have been taken away” due to a motorhome being parked in front of her residence.

Thursday, November 5

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/CIRCUMSTANCES
Del Obispo Street, 34000 Block (9 p.m.) A drunken man was banging on the back door of the Community Center and cursing at women taking a belly dancing class there.

CITIZEN ASSIST
Malaga Drive, 33900 Block (6:50 p.m.) A woman said she had found her revolver after reporting it stolen the previous day.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON/CIRCUMSTANCES
Del Obispo Street/Stonehill Drive (5:05 p.m.) A patrol check was requested for a drunken man walking around in traffic near the Community Center, wearing a bra and black tights. This call followed another that came in at 4:57 p.m. reporting a man in a bra and panties at the intersection of PCH and Del Obispo.

ILLEGAL PARKED VEHICLE
El Camino Capistrano, 24600 Block (1:08 p.m.) A woman complained about a motorhome parked across from her residence near Old Golden Lantern and Street of the Violet Lantern and blocking her view. The woman said the man “doesn’t pay city taxes” and has been “using the street as his party palace for the last month.”
