Doheny Surf Festival was back in town over the weekend with two days’ worth of surfing, music, food and vendors.
The event was held by the Doheny State Beach Interpretive Association, a non-profit liaison organization that protects, supports and enhances the State Parks and Beaches.
On Saturday, kids 17 and under participated in the kids’ surf contest, Matt Akiona took the stage and there were surf demonstrations.
On Sunday, there was a long board contest, multiple performers throughout the day and a movie screening to end the event.
