The Civic Association’s monthly Coffee Chat will be returning to Coffee Importers next week after a summer hiatus.

This month’s meeting will be Friday, Sept. 16 at 8:30 a.m. with the Dana Point City Council candidates as the special guests. With election season upon the city, the Civic Association and the Dana Point Times will be holding a candidate forum. During the forum, the Times will ask each candidate questions submitted by Dana Point residents about issues they believe are important.

The Times is currently collecting questions residents have for the candidates. If interested in submitting a question for the candidates, email editorial@danapointtimes.com.

All are welcome to attend.

The forum will be held at Coffee Importers at 8:30 a.m. Free coffee will be provided for those who attend courtesy of Jim Miller of the Civic Association and Coffee Importers.

Next month, on Friday, Oct. 21, the Times and  Civic Association will hold a forum with the candidates for the South Coast Water District board. You may also submit questions for these candidates.

Coffee Chat is held once a month at Coffee Importers, located at 34531 Street of the Golden Lantern, Dana Point.
