Jerry was my best friend in my teenage years into adulthood…We drifted apart over the years from me moving out of state and going other directions that life takes us. I have very fond memories of my friend. We both loved to SCUBA dive and spent a lot of time pursuing this activity. We also loved the mountains and we enjoyed a good number of backpacking and camping trips all over California, Canada, and a few in Mexico.
I heard the shocking news from Jerry’s brother Glenn last night and still can’t believe it. Ironically, I had gone to the store yesterday and decided to splurge and get some lobster tails for dinner. I can remember many times being over at Jerry’ home in Thousand Oaks greedily eating lobster tails after a successful dive of grabbing ‘bugs’. I can still picture Jerry eating Blue Cheese dressing straight out of the jar because he loved it so much. HIs Mom, of course, didn’t know this or maybe she did. I’ll miss you my friend and I’ll think of us diving together with you as my buddy.
My sincere condolences to Rita, Mo, Glenn, and Karen, and the rest of Jerry’s extended Family and Friends,
